Western Australia Travel Guide
How to Live Work and Play Western Australia
Western Australia is around 2.5 million square kilometres which equals about one third of the entire country of Australia or about the size of Western Europe. It is hard to fathom its size which is why the size provides such diverse countryside. You will find vibrant cities, a world-famous wine area, a brilliant coastline and desert areas with natural wonders.
Perth is the capital of Western Australia and is a very good place to start your visit. From there you can head north to the Ningaloo Reef and swim with the whale sharks. Or perhaps head south and visit Fremantle and the world-famous Margaret River wine region. Maybe go East to the gold mining town of Kalgoorlie. There are plenty of things to see and do in Western Australia. Check out my map following (reproduced from my travel guide Live Work and Play in Australia) for some inspiration on how you can live work and play Western Australia.
